Low-cost carrier Frontier Airlines will add five non-stop destinations from Trenton, New Jersey, from April.
The five destinations to be served from Trenton-Mercer Airport are Atlanta, Chicago Midway, Columbus (Ohio), Detroit and Raleigh-Durham (North Carolina). All five routes will begin on 8 April, with the exception of Trenton to Detroit, which will launch on 9 April.
The carrier will operate four times weekly to Atlanta and Detroit, three times weekly to Columbus, and six times weekly to Chicago Midway and Raleigh-Durham. It will operate Airbus A319 aircraft on all of the routes.
Frontier is the only scheduled airline serving Trenton and started flights from the airport on 16 November 2012, with a route to Orlando. It will also begin flights to Fort Myers, Fort Lauderdale, Tampa and New Orleans from late January and early February.
With the new destinations announced today, Frontier will serve 10 cities from Trenton in April.
