Danish operator Cimber has taken two Bombardier CRJ200LR aircraft under a lease agreement arranged by Dutch independent asset finance company GA-Finance.

The aircraft (MSNs 7591 and 7622), which were built in 2001 and 2002, were previously operated by Spain’s Air Nostrum.

Currently the Danish operator operates five CRJ200s and a pair of ATR 72-200 turboprops and both additions will replace two CRJ200ERs inherited from Cimber Sterling, says GA-Finance.

“The successful placement of these aircraft in a challenging environment demonstrates that the aircraft type is still in demand for a specific operator base in Europe,” says GA-Finance managing director Anne Bart Tieleman.
