Two Boeing 737-700s are to be broken up after GA Innovation China signed a memorandum of understanding to purchase the CFM-powered aircraft from Apollo Aviation Management.

GAIC plans to disassemble the aircraft at AMECO in Beijing. The parts derived from the dismantled aircraft will be warehoused in Beijing and targeted at the Asian market.

The two aircraft will be delivered in 2013.

GA Telesis and Air China formed GA Innovation China last month. The 50/50 joint venture provides financial services for carriers in China and in the Asia-Pacific region.
