Guangzhou Aircraft Maintenance and Engineering Company (GAMECO) has signed a three-year contract with China Postal Airlines for maintenance work on its fleet of Boeing 737-300 and 737-400 freighter aircraft.

The deal will include line maintenance, base maintenance, engineering support, material support and component repair and overhaul for the fleet, says GAMECO. The agreement will also cover new additions to the airline's fleet.

China Postal has a fleet of 17 737 freighters, according to Flightglobal's ACAS database.

"China Postal Airlines is growing to support the economic needs of China and GAMECO sees them as a very important long-term customer for our business. We are honoured to be able to support the growth of China Postal and are very pleased to continue our strategic partnership with them," says GAMECO's deputy general manager Yuan Xifan.
