Garuda Indonesia has announced on the routes that will fall under its codeshare with All Nippon Airways (ANA).
The Indonesian flag carrier says it will place its code on ANA-operated services from Tokyo Narita to Nagoya, Sendai, Fukuoka and Sapporo. This will also include services from Osaka Kansai to Fukuoka, Sapporo and Okinawa, and from Tokyo Haneda to Jakarta, Fukuoka, Sapporo and Okinawa.
ANA will place its code on Garuda-operated services from Denpasar to Tokyo Haneda and Narita, and Osaka Kansai. From Jakarta, the codeshare will cover routes from Jakarta to Palembang, Medan, Jogjakarta, Semarang, Surabaya, Denpasar, Lombok, Balikpapan, Manado, Makassar, Tokyo Haneda and Narita, and Osaka Kansai.
The codeshare will begin on 30 March, with the exception of Garuda-operated Jakarta-Tokyo Haneda service, which commences on 15 June, it adds.
Both carriers signed a memorandum of understanding on codesharing in December 2013.
