Garuda Indonesia launched an in-flight connectivity and live TV service on its Boeing 777 services on 2 October.
The carrier is providing the Wi-Fi based connectivity in association with state-owned telecommunications provider Telkom. The service will be complimentary for first class passengers, business and economy passengers will have to pay for 1h or 24h access packages.
Passengers in all classes will also be able to access live TV from six international stations on a complimentary basis.
The service is now available on its Boeing 777-300ERs, and will progressively be introduced on Airbus A330-200 and -300 aircraft, the airline says.
Garuda has two 777-300ERs in service, and will receive two more by the end of 2013, three in 2014 and another three in 2015.
