Garuda Indonesia plans to launch a list of new domestic and international services, according to its 2013 schedule.

In March, the carrier plans to start daily services from Denpasar to Bandung and Balikpapan, and from Medan to Pekanbaru, Denpasar and Penang.

In April and May, it will launch daily services from Medan to Padang, Palembang and Makassar, and from Batam to Medan and Pekanbaru.

Daily services on routes from Surabaya to Banjarmasin and Singapore will, meanwhile, commence in May.

Garuda has also scheduled a daily service on the Denpasar-Bangkok route in June, together with services from Balikpapan to Banjarmasin, Manado and Berau. The Surabaya-Medan-Jeddah and Makassar-Sorong-Manokwari routes will begin in July, says the airline.

In August, the carrier will launch a four times weekly service from Denpasar to Auckland, and also resume daily services on the Jakarta-Denpasar-Brisbane route. Twice daily services on domestic routes from Jakarta to Bengkulu and Tanjung Pandan will begin in the same month.

In September, the airline will start a daily service on the Jakarta-Tanjung Pinang route.

In October, it will launch a six times weekly Jakarta-London service using Boeing 777-300ER aircraft, and daily services on routes from Denpasar to Kuala Lumpur and Taipei Taoyuan, using Boeing 737-800 aircraft.

The daily Medan-Singapore service will be launched in November, while daily services from Surabaya to Batam and Kupang will commence in December, adds Indonesia's flag carrier.
