GE Aviation signed a 15-year OnPoint solution agreement with SkyWest Airlines for support of its 150 CF34-8C5B1 engines that power the airline's Bombardier CRJ700 aircraft.

The agreement is valued at more than $360 million over the life of the contract.

"This OnPoint solution agreement for material will allow SkyWest Airlines to benefit from OEM material and support to ensure its engines retain their high performance capabilities and stay on wing longer," says Paul McElhinney, president and chief executive officer for GE Aviation's Services organisation.
