GE Capital Aviation Services (GECAS) has placed a new Boeing 737-800 aircraft under an operating lease agreement to Transavia France.

The aircraft (MSN 37778) is equipped with CFM International CFM56-7B24E engines. It was acquired from Air Berlin on delivery, according to Flightglobal's Ascend online database.

The transaction follows a similar deal in February with another new 737-800 (MSN 36120) acquired from the German carrier.

Ascend says Transavia France now operates 10 737-800s under operating lease agreements.
