GECAS places 737 Max with Travel Service

Operating lessor GECAS has announced an agreement to lease four new Boeing 737-800 Max aircraft to Czech operator Travel Service.

The first two aircraft are scheduled to deliver in early 2018, the other two in early 2019.

The transaction marks the first 737 Max placements for the operating lessor. GECAS has an order for 75 aircraft.

According to Flightglobal’s Ascend Online database, GECAS has seven 737-800s as well as one Airbus A320 on lease to Travel Service Group.
