GE Capital Aviation Services (GECAS) is in the market seeking bids on three separate aircraft leasing portfolios, banking sources indicated.
The portfolio sales are a normal part of GECAS' business strategy and fleet renewal process, sources said.
"The assets being offered to the market are a mixed bag of newer and older narrowbody and widebody aircraft," said a financier familiar with the portfolios.
The US and Irish leasing company has a fleet of more than 1,750 owned and managed aircraft with approximately 240 airlines in 75 countries, according to its website.
GECAS was unavailable for comment at the time of press.
