SINGLE FINANCE

Cessna's sister company Cessna Finance is offering a finance programme for new owners of its propeller-driven aircraft including the 172, 182, Corvalis and Caravan models. "We are finding many people are ready to buy a new aircraft but are unsure about where to finance the purchase, so CFC initiated this programme to ease their concern with a smoother process and lower rates," the company says. The finance will apply to model purchased before the end of the year, its says.


BELL BLADE

Van Horn Aviation has received supplemental type certification for its composite tail rotor blade for the Bell 206 light utility helicopter. The Tempe, Arizona-based company says the $9,000 blade provides a 40% reduction in noise, 15% reduction in centrifugal force, and a 5,000h retirement life - double that of the original blade from Bell.
