Berlin-based charter carrier Germania has signed a distribution agreement with Amadeus for the sale of individual tickets.

The contract covers all flights except those which the airline conducts as full charter services on behalf of external tour operators or other carriers.

The global distribution agreement will be an important sales channel, allowing Germania to increase revenues and operate flights more economically, says Karsten Balke, executive board member and lawyer of the airline's majority shareholder, Ingrid Bischoff.

The carrier also plans to distribute tickets via Galileo and Worldspan in the future.
