Berlin-based carrier Germania will start flights from Leipzig and Karlsruhe/Baden-Baden to Moscow as part of its winter schedule.

The airline will operate two flights per week from each of the two German airports to the Russian capital's Domodedovo hub.

As thrice-weekly services from Bremen to Moscow are be continued, the carrier says it is more than doubling its capacity between Germany and Moscow.
