Brazilian GOL Linhas Aereas has closed two sale and leaseback transactions on new Boeing 737-800 aircraft with operating lessors.
The budget carrier sold a 737-800 aircraft to Jackson Square Aviation at the end of July.
The aircraft (MSN 39621) is the second of a five-aircraft mandate. It follows the delivery of the first 737-800 (MSN 39617) in May.
GOL also sold a new 737-800 aircraft to BOC Aviation.
The aircraft (MSN 39622) is part of an eight-aircraft mandate signed in November 2012. It follows the delivery of the first 737-800 (MSN 36915) in March.
According to Flightglobal's Ascend Online database, BOC Aviation will close on another 737-800 delivery in December this year.
Since the beginning of 2013, GOL has closed 737-800 sale and leaseback deals with AerCap, AerDragon, AWAS, BOC Aviation, Jackson Square Aviation, SMBC Aviation Capital on a total of 10 aircraft. The carrier financed a June delivery under an US Export-Import guaranteed bond. Its next delivery is scheduled for September.
