Brazilian carrier Gol has reported a 3% growth in passenger revenue per available seat kilometre in July.
Systemwide passenger traffic declined 4.8% in July.
Total capacity fell 6.5%, resulting in a 1.3 percentage point climb in the load factor to 77.1%.
Domestic traffic fell 7% while capacity was down 9.2%. The domestic passenger load factor grew 1.8 percentage point to 77.6%.
International traffic grew 20% and capacity rose 24.8%. The international load factor declined 2.9 percentage points to 72.9%.
Gol, which is in the process of acquiring WebJet, says consolidated traffic between the two carriers fell 3.1% in July. Capacity was down 4.4%, and the consolidated load factor rose one percentage point to 77.1%.
