Brazilian airline Gol has posted a 7% increase in passenger revenue per available seat kilometre (PRASK) in June, compared with the same month last year.
Passenger traffic increased 0.7% and capacity decreased 6.4%, resulting in Gol's load factor increasing by five percentage points to 70.5%.
Domestic RPKs were up 1.4% while international RPKs declined 6.4%, adds the airline.
Domestic capacity fell 6.7% and international capacity fell 3.7%.
The domestic load factor increased 5.7 percentage points to 71.5%, while the international load factor fell 1.8 percentage points to 61.3%.
WebJet, which Gol is acquiring, posted an 8% increase in traffic and a 10.7% increase in capacity, resulting in a 1.9 percentage point decrease in its load factor to 73.5%.
