Brazilian carrier Gol has reported growth of approximately 1% in passenger revenue per available seat kilometre (PRASK) in September.
System-wide passenger traffic declined 5.2% in September, while total capacity fell 9.6%, resulting in a 3.4 percentage point increase in the load factor to 73.1%.
Domestic traffic fell 5.6% while capacity was down 10%. The domestic passenger load factor grew 3.4 percentage points to 73.5%.
International traffic remained flat and capacity fell 5.3%. The international load factor increased 3.6 percentage points to 68.4%.
Fuel prices for the month were up 25% year-on-year, adds the carrier.
