Goodrich makes senior leadership changes

Goodrich Corporation has appointed Mike Brand as vice president for 787/Commercial airframe entry into service (EIS) and Dave Castagnola as president of the company's landing gear business, effective 1 January 2011.

Brand will report to the company's three segment presidents - Jack Carmola (Actuation and landing systems), Cindy Egnotovich (Nacelles and interior systems) and Curtis Reusser (Electronic systems).

A 20-year veteran, Brand joined Goodrich in 2005 as president of its landing gear business. Previously, he worked at General Electric and Teleflex.

Castagnola joined Goodrich in 1997, he currently hold the position of vice president and general manager for programmes and manufacturing at Goodrich's aerostructures business.

Prior to joining Goodrich, Castagnola worked for San Diego aircraft engineering in manufacturing engineering roles.
