Gulf Air is cutting routes between Bahrain and Colombo, Dhaka and Kathmandu as the services are "not commercially viable" says the embattled carrier.

The final flight to Colombo departs on 10 February, Dhaka on 4 March and Kathmandu on 24 March.

"The decision will allow Gulf Air to use its fleet and resources in the most efficient way by strengthening its Middle East and North Africa markets, focusing on its core services by optimising its network," says the airline.
