Middle Eastern carrier Gulf Air has selected Singapore’s
SIA Engineering to perform heavy maintenance work on part of the airline’s
three-year agreement covers maintenance on about half the Gulf Air fleet and
includes five Airbus A340s, six A330s and six A320s.
Gulf Air signed the deal, which runs to 2010, at the Singapore Airshow. It values the agreement
at $21 million.
