Gulf Air will launch service from Bahrain to the Saudi Arabian cities of Gassim, Yanbu and Taif in 2012.

The carrier will operate four times-weekly service to Taif from 15 January using Embraer 170 aircraft, will begin thrice-weekly service to Gassim from 17 January and deploy Airbus A319 and Embraer 170 aircraft on the route.

The thrice-weekly service to Yanbu will be operated using A319s, starting 15 February, said the carrier.

According to the Innovata schedules, no other carrier operates on the routes from Bahrain to Gassim, Yanbu and Taif.
