GVK airports’ Q4 revenue up 46%

Indian conglomerate GVK Power and Infrastructure Ltd's (GVKPIL) airports division recorded revenue of Indian rupees (Rs) 4.73 billion ($84 million), up by 46% year on year for the fiscal fourth quarter.

For the quarter to 31 March, the airports' results fell by 6.7% to Rs673 million from Rs721 million in the same period last year.

For FY2013, the company's airports division revenue totalled Rs14.6 billion, more than double the Rs5.96 billion in the previous year. The airports' results for the year almost doubled to Rs2.5 billion.

GVK operates Mumbai's Chhatrapati Shivaji airport and Bengaluru International Airport.
