Hong Kong Aircraft Engineering Company (HAECO) will repair Rolls-Royce Trent 700 inlet cowls on behalf of Bombardier.

The two companies have signed a partnership agreement for the Canadian airframer's customer services division.

Bombardier manufactures the inlet cowl at its facility in Belfast, where it has also been providing aftermarket support for the component.

The repair capabilities were later introduced to the company's maintenance site in Dallas as well.

HAECO will service the equipment at its component and avionics overhaul centre in Tseung Kwan O, approximately 30mi (50km) east of Hong Kong International Airport.
