Chinese carrier Hainan Airlines' passenger load factor increased by 5.94 percentage points to 89% in February.
The carrier's passenger traffic, as measured in RPKs, rose by 10% year on year in February, while capacity, as measured in ASKs, went up by 3.1%.
The airline carried 2.1 million passengers, up by 12% compared with February last year, which had one extra day because of the leap year.
Hainan's freight traffic went up by 4.2%, while freight capacity decreased by 13%. Total freight carried in the month fell by 18% to 16,400t and its freight weight load factor rose by 13.4 percentage points to 81%.
The figures include data from Hainan Airlines, China Xinhua Airlines, Chang'an Airlines and Shanxi Airlines.
