Hainan Airlines secures financing for 737NG pre-delivery payments

Hainan Airlines has secured $100 million from Hong Kong Aviation Capital (HKAC) to finance the pre-delivery payments for three Boeing 737NG aircraft.

Hainan Airlines and lessor HKAC also inked an a letter of intent for the sale and leaseback of the three aircraft, to be delivered in 2013.

A formal agreement will be signed before the delivery of the aircraft.

Hainan Airlines operates a fleet of 100 aircraft and has 47 Boeing 787s, 737s, Airbus A320s and Comac C919s on order.
