Hainan Airlines plans to launch seven new domestic services, starting in July.
The carrier says it will start four times weekly Taiyuan-Xining and Taiyuan-Guiyang services on 1 July.
This will be followed by daily Urumqi-Zhengzhou-Fuzhou, Urumqi-Chongqing-Nanchang and Urumqi-Xining-Changsha services on 4, 10 and 13 July respectively.
It will also start a daily Urumqi-Yining service on 13 July and a thrice weekly Urumqi-Zhengzhou-Wenzhou service on 14 July.
The airline adds it will use Boeing 737 aircraft for the seven new services.
Innovata schedules show that Hainan Airlines will be the only operator on the Taiyuan-Xining route. It will compete with Tianjin Airlines on the Taiyuan-Guiyang route, and with Sichuan Airlines on the Urumqi-Chongqing-Nanchang route.
On the Urumqi-Yining, Urumqi-Zhengzhou-Fuzhou, Urumqi-Xining-Changsha and Zhengzhou-Wenzhou routes, Hainan Airlines will compete with China Southern Airlines.
