Hawaiian Airlines load factor decreased 1.9 percentage points to 81% during February versus a year earlier.

Passenger traffic increased 21.8%, while capacity rose by 24.6% and passenger numbers grew 6.9% to 751,091 year-on-year.

On a year-to-date basis, passenger traffic and capacity increased 21% and 24.6%, respectively. The airline's load factor declined 2.4 percentage points to 80.8% compared with the corresponding period in 2011.

Passenger numbers grew 7% to 1.54 million.

February had one less day than in 2012 due to leap year.
