Hawaiian passenger traffic up 24.9% in November

Hawaiian Airlines posted a 24.9% increase in passenger traffic during November compared with the year earlier.

Capacity for the month rose 28% while the passenger load factor decreased two percentage points to 82.4%.

Passenger numbers rose 11.8% year-on-year to 791,033.

On a year-to-date basis, passenger traffic and capacity increased 20.1% and 21.5%, respectively. The airline's load factor declined one percentage point to 83.5% compared with the corresponding period in 2011.

Passenger numbers grew 9.4% to 8.67 million.

Hawaiian has added a number of Airbus A330-200s and Boeing 717-200s to its fleet during the past year.
