Portuguese charter operator Hi Fly is expanding its all-Airbus fleet with the introduction of its first narrowbody aircraft, according to sources.
Hi Fly will take a used Airbus A321 under an operating lease agreement from lessor ILFC next month and will place the aircraft with the Belgium government, which is replacing its A330-300 from the charter operator.
The 1999-vintage A321 aircraft was previously operated by Turkey’s Onur Air.
The Portuguese carrier operates one Airbus A310-300, five A330s and six A340s.
