Hong Kong carrier Dragonair is to launch a new Hong Kong-Guangzhou service from 14 September.

The Cathay Pacific subsidiary says in a statement that the twice-daily service will use Airbus A320 and A321s.

"Opening Guangzhou as a destination reinforces Dragonair's long-term commitment to explore potential destinations and strengthen our presence in our core mainland market," says Dragonair CEO Kenny Tang.
