The Airport Authority Hong Kong (AAHK) has extended the term of its chairman Marvin Cheung by a year to May 2015.
It also announced that its chief executive Stanley Hui will be stepping down with effect from July 2014.
AAHK says that the reappointment of Cheung will ensure continuity of leadership for its major developments, and a smooth transition to the new chief executive. Key projects it is handling include the three-runway system and the expansion of the midfield and west apron.
“Since taking the helm in early 2007, Stanley has done a remarkable job leading AA[HK] to meet Hong Kong International Airport’s fast growing air traffic demand while providing a world-class travel experience for our passengers,” says Cheung.
