Hong Kong Express plans to expand its daily Hong Kong-Osaka Kansai service in the coming weeks.
The airline will add four weekly frequencies on the route, raising its total frequency to 11 times weekly. This will take place on 7 December, it says.
“Osaka has proved a very popular destination with Hongkongers, so much so that we decided to increase the number of weekly flights to accommodate everyone’s needs,” says the low-cost carrier’s deputy chief executive Andrew Cowen.
Flightglobal’s FlightMaps Analytics show that Hong Kong Express competes with Air India, All Nippon Airways, Cathay Pacific, sister carrier Hong Kong Airlines and Peach Aviation on the Hong Kong-Osaka Kansai route.
