Horizon Air is to add Sonoma County Airport near Santa Rosa in northern California to its network.

Services are scheduled to start on March 20, when the regional carrier begins operating daily flights to Los Angeles and Seattle.

An airline spokeswoman says Bombardier Q400 turboprops will be used on both routes.

No airline currently offers scheduled service from Sonoma County. An airport representative said it “has been some time” since Sonoma has supported a commercial service.
