HSBC Bank has arranged an export credit agency (ECA)-guaranteed loan covering Air Astana’s last Airbus A320 delivery.
The aircraft (MSN 5780) was delivered on 21 November to the Kazakh flag carrier.
The facility is guaranteed by Germany's Euler Hermes and has a 12-year tenor.
The A320 is part of a three-aircraft transaction supported by ECA guarantees. The first aircraft closed in May, the second in September.
Air Astana placed the A320 order, which is powered by International Aero Engines V2500 engines, in 2008, but the Almaty-based carrier converted two A320 orders into the larger A321 model in 2011.
