International Airlines Group (IAG) has posted a 0.3% year-on-year increase in passenger traffic for December.
The total number of passengers carried by the group rose by 4.3% year-on-year to 4.05 million.
Capacity fell 0.4% at the parent company of British Airways and Iberia, while passenger load factor grew by 0.5 percentage points to 78.1%.
The group's premium traffic increased by 4.6%. Non-premium IAG traffic declined by 0.4%.
Iberia recorded an 8.4% decrease in passenger traffic during the month against a capacity fall of 6.1%, while freight traffic declined 10.6%.
BA posted a 3.9% rise in passenger traffic and 1.8% growth in capacity. Freight traffic was down 2%.
