Australia's International Air Services Commission (IASC) has approved Qantas's applications to codeshare with Emirates on routes to Italy and France.

IASC has allowed the carrier to use 250 one-way seats per day of capacity on the France route in codeshare agreement with Emirates.

IASC has also approved Qantas's application for renewal of 300 of the 600 seats allocated on the Italy route.

Meanwhile, the IASC has revoked four determinations of Australia's HeavyLift Cargo Airlines that allocate freight capacity to the airline on services to New Zealand, Papua New Guinea and the Solomon Islands.

The agency reviewed the determinations allocated to the airline following the cancellation of its International Airline Licence.

The determinations allow the airline to carry 39t of freight capacity to Papua New Guinea, 25t to the Solomon Islands and unlimited freight capacity to New Zealand.
