Australia's International Air Services Commission (IASC) has approved Qantas's application to codeshare with Finnair on the Australia-Hong Kong route starting 1 July.

The capacity allocation may be used by Qantas to provide joint services with Finnair in line with the codeshare agreement between the two carriers dated 23 December 2010.

IASC adds that Qantas must also price and sell its services on the route independently of Finnair, and not share or pool revenues.
