SkyTeam and its Chinese airline partners have struck a co-operation deal with a number of their key hub airports in the country on passenger services.

The alliance has signed a co-operation deal with Beijing Capital International Airport to implement customer-focused initiatives at the airport.

This comes after other recent deals between China Southern Airlines and China Eastern Airlines with Shanghai Pudong International and Guangzhou Baiyun airports on passenger services.

The deal covers operational efficiency and aims to enhance the airport passenger experience through three core projects for departing passengers, high yield passengers and transfer passengers.

IATA, under its Fast Travel initiative, also has a programme in place to improve the efficiency of passenger movements. Air China and Beijing Capital were the first airline-airport pair in the country to implement the programme.
