Iberia and American Airlines extend codeshare agreement

Iberia has extended its codeshare agreement with American Airlines to 16 new US destinations through the latter's hubs in New York, Chicago, Dallas and Miami.

The new destinations, available from 23 July, are Fort Lauderdale via New York; Manhattan Kansas, Rochester and Toledo via Chicago; Portland, Louisville, Baton Rouge, Chattanooga, Corpus Christi, Lake Charles, Laredo, Reno and Savannah via Dallas; and Gainesville, Greensboro and Birmingham via Miami.

The new codeshares come under the Joint Business Agreement signed by Iberia, American Airlines and British Airways to jointly market North Atlantic routes.
