Madrid-based Iberia Maintenance has subscribed to the 'Airbus Managed Inventory' (AMI) service to supply its parent airline's fleet with high-usage, non-repairable parts.

Implementing the airframer's supply chain service, which automatically replenishes stock based on real-time consumption data, will "allow us to focus more on the planning and procurement activities for our heavy maintenance", says Alberto de la Cal Lanza, vice-president administration and purchasing at the Spanish airline.
