Low-cost carrier Iberia Express has grown its Airbus A320 fleet to eight aircraft, two months after starting operations.
The Madrid-based carrier, which leases the A320s from parent company Iberia, plans to have a fleet of 13 aircraft in operation by the end of this year.
Iberia Express launched services to four domestic routes Mallorca, Alicante, Malaga and Seville with four A320s at the end of March. It added Vigo, Lanzarote, Grenada, Menorca and Ibiza to its network last month.
The carrier started international services earlier this month with Dublin and Naples, commencing on 1 June and 2 June, respectively.
According to the business plan, Iberia Express will operate to Edinburgh, Riga, Mikonos, as well as Santiago de Compostella and La Palma starting next month.
