Iberia has started operating flights to Athens, Dubrovnik and Zagreb.
Starting today, the Spanish carrier is flying thrice-weekly to Dubrovnik from Madrid - using an Airbus A321 - and it will add an additional weekly service in July and August. The route will be operated until 30 September.
From 15 June until 15 September, Iberia will operate twice-weekly flights from Madrid to another Croatian destination: Zagreb.
Service from Madrid to the Greek capital will start on 1 July and last until 29 September. The frequency will be five times per week in July, four in August and three in September.
Additional flights to Athens are covered by a codeshare with Iberia Express. This also spans services to Riga and St Petersburg.
According to Innovata schedules, Aegean Airlines and Iberia Express are the only airlines currently operating between Madrid and Athens. Iberia is be the sole operator on the Croatian routes.
