ICBC Leasing has closed the first of six Airbus A320 deliveries to China Southern Airlines.
The new A320 aircraft, MSN 4613, and is powered by CFM56-5B4/3 engines.
It is leased for a period of 12 years. The second aircraft, MSN 4550 is expected later this month.
The two A320s are part of an original order placed by Air Berlin, but sold to ICBC as part of a deal for six A320s and four 737-800s.
The Chinese lessor acquired two Air Berlin 737-800 future slot positions and placed them to Shenzhen Airlines for a 10-year operating lease term.
The remaining two 737-800s remain unplaced.
