Icelandair plans to launch new international seasonal services to Canadian destinations Edmonton and Vancouver, as well as Geneva in Switzerland in 2014.
Starting 26 March, the carrier will operate four weekly flights to Edmonton, which will continue until January 2015.
The airline will start twice weekly services to Vancouver on 13 May, operating until 12 October. The twice weekly flights to Geneva will begin on 24 May and continue until 23 September.
It forms part of further expansion in capacity next summer. In addition to the new routes Icelandair will also increase frequency of services to several cities in North America and Europe.
The airline is adding three more Boeing 757 aircraft to take its fleet 21 aircraft.
According to Innovata schedules, the airline will be the only operator on the new routes.
