UK-based IFE Services is now providing content for the iPad mini for airline customers to rent out during flights as an ancillary revenue driver.
The newest Apple tablet has a 7.9 in screen and storage capacity of up to 64 Gb.
IFE Services has already secured agreements with eight airlines to bring content to the standard iPad tablet with a 9.5 in screen. Recent customers for the iPads include Italian carrier Neos, Thailand's Jet Asia Airways.
IFE Services provides in-flight entertainment content to more than 50 airlines via both embedded IFE systems and tablets.
