4,000th Cirrus’ aircraft off the production line holds a special place in the company’s history as it is the first of the SR22 G3s to feature the new Cirrus Perspective cockpit .

The aircraft is on the static display where GA pilots can see the Cirrus Perspective which features twin 12in displays and a host of autopilot improvements.

The system is an enhancement of Garmin’s G1000, but managing director John Bingham says, “It’s much more than a G1000. It has synthetic vision and larger displays as well as four additional autopilot functionalities. A level button, a go-around button, a yaw damper and an indicated airspeed hold.”
