International Lease Finance Corporation (ILFC) has announced the placement of a total of 10 aircraft with customers, bringing year-to-date lease placements to 150.

The operating lessor has leased one Airbus A320-200 aircraft to Royal Falcon Airlines, one A320-200 to Sichuan Airlines, two Boeing 737-700s to Lucky Air and one 737-800 aircraft to Garuda Indonesia.

ILFC also placed five widebody aircraft: one 767-300 aircraft to Transaero Airlines, 747-400 to Air Atlanta Icelandic, one A330-300 aircraft to Air Transat and two A340-300s to Finnair Aircraft Finance.

ILFC's CEO Henri Courpron comments: "I am very pleased with the performance of our marketing team in a recovering market. These 150 lease commitments represent a strong improvement over past years and in fact are a total well above the entire fleet count of most other leasing companies. Our placement success combined with our improving balance sheet provides ILFC real momentum and is a true testament to the capabilities and focus of the people of ILFC."

"We continue to find that ILFC's ability to offer a range of aircraft models and pricing solutions is a major attraction for those seeking new or used airplanes," Courpron adds.
