Indian low-cost carrier GoAir plans to start flights to Nagpur and Nanded, two cities in central India, from 6 April.
It will operate a daily non-stop service between Nagpur and New Delhi, and a twice-weekly non-stop service between Nagpur and Nanded, says GoAir.
The airline will also launch a non-stop service between Nagpur and Mumbai fives times a week, and a service between Nagpur and Mumbai but via Nanded twice a week.
GoAir will operate four flights a week between New Delhi and Nanded. Two of these flights will be routed via Mumbai, and the other two will be routed via Nagpur.
It will also launch twice-weekly non-stop flights between Nanded and Mumbai, says GoAir, which operates Airbus A320 aircraft.
GoAir will be the only carrier operating between Nanded and New Delhi, and Nanded and Nagpur, according to schedules in Innovata.
However, it will compete against Air India and IndiGo on the Nagpur-New Delhi route, and Air India, IndiGo, Jet Airways Konnect, JetLite and Kingfisher on the Nagpur-Mumbai route.
