India's Jet Airways plans to start a new daily service between Trivandrum on India's western coast and Dammam in Saudi Arabia from 28 March.
It will operate Boeing 737-800 aircraft on the route, says the carrier.
"The introduction of the new daily services to Dammam will further strengthen Jet Airways' presence in the Gulf, where it has emerged as one of the leading carriers on the Indo-Gulf sector in a relatively short period of time," says the airline.
Dammam is Jet's 10th destination in the Middle East, and its third in Saudi Arabia.
The carrier will compete against Air India on the route, according to schedules in Flightglobal's Innovata database.
